Trustee of The Mowgli Foundation

Appointed to the Board in 2008, Sandy qualified as a chartered physiotherapist in 1963 and worked as such for 25 years. She then left to go the College of Law, passed all heads of the Law Society Finals in 1988 and was admitted as a solicitor in 1990.

As a solicitor she specialised in corporate taxation working for a city law firm, joined bankers Coutts & Co in 1999 and became Head of UK tax planning from which position she retired in April 2004.

Since 2004 has been contracted by Coutts & Co to provide consultancy services on their big tax cases, acts as consultant to some private clients and small companies, on board of 3 charities-

British Safety Council for 8 years, recently appointed as a part time Judge of the First Tier Tax Chamber.
