John works with organisations to improve the performance of the IT function by executive coaching to help people to change and develop. He coaches leaders and managers responsible for IT services and the initiation or delivery of projects: IT directors, programme managers, project managers, and other IT and change management professionals.

He has been helping organisations deliver IT services and projects as a consultant and programme and project manager for over 25 years. The organisations he has worked with include technology companies such as McDonnell Douglas and CheckFree, investment managers such as Robert Fleming, Barings, Merrill Lynch and AXA, and organisations in the education sector. He also trains and facilitates groups in project management and personal development skills.

John has an MA in Professional Coaching. He is accredited by the International Coach Federation (ICF) and has presented at the European ICF conference. He has written on coaching, leadership and personal development for various publications including Coaching at Work, CIO Magazine and Freelancing Matters.
