Marion Parris is a performance coach, trainer and facilitator with over 20 years’ experience in strategic, operational and developmental roles. Her background also includes 10 years operational experience in both hospitality and retail.

Marion has worked in small, medium and large organisations and has first hand experience of the leadership challenges of working within complex and changing systems, including mergers and restructures. She holds a Masters Degree in Human Resources Management, is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development, and a council member for the Learning Practitioners Association. She is also a Coach for the East Midlands Development Agency on their High Growth Programme.

In 1991 Marion followed her entrepreneurial dreams and founded her own training consultancy, Parris King Developing Potential Ltd and works with clients in the public and private sectors as well as charities. In 2007 she also set up a new trading arm The Coach Practice, which supports leaders who are struggling with performance and relationship issues in the workplace. She is also the Chair of the Board for Groundwork Derby and Derbyshire, and on the Board of Groundwork East Midlands.

Marion lives in Derby and Devon, England, with her husband and young daughter. She enjoys garden design, sea inspired craft and property development.
