He cites examples from the hospitality industry where a $20 per night hotel was able to generate profit in its first month of opening, from the auto industry in comparing a $4k Indian produced car with its $15k US counterpart and healthcare with exciting film of $25 prosthetic limbs that compare more than favourably with $12k US versions. Further detailed viewing on the concept of the Fortune at the Bottom of the Pyramid
According to C. K. Prahalad 80% of the world's population can't reap the benefits of a global economy and businesses can no longer afford to ignore them. Learn about the reasoning behind the statement: "Every person should be treated as a consumer, be able to afford world-class products and services... Consumers always get respect".
Professor C.K. Prahalad , author of bestsellers like 'The Fortune at the Bottom of the Pyramid' and 'The Future of Competition', visited MSM in Maastricht and shared his innovative ideas during several events.
